During these unprecedented times, our students, faculty and staff have been working hard to prepare for a virtual gala, originally scheduled 5/18/2020 at Alice Tully Hall, as well as our 51st Spring Concert. While dealing with distance learning, worries about their family members' health, and missing their friends and activities, we have tried to keep up their spirits, and their skill set. Actually, since it is impossible to rehearse via Zoom, our meetings have allowed each child to find their own voices, and one of our alumnus has mixed the individual recordings, and the remarkable videographer who magically appeared in our lives has studied the children through their weekly practices and told a magical tale of their growth and development through the process. We need your help to get us through this period, in order to continue to work remotely until the blessed day that we can safely meet again. Our board has generously offered to match any donation up to $50,000!
